The Long Walk

S and K took us for a long walk(3 1/2 hours) to Walmart and back . It doesn't usually take this long but we got lost coming out of Ala Moana mall. The beach walk on the way was very nice as the breeze was welcome. We walked along the canal coming back to S and K's. They have a nice condo on the 37th floor and have quite a view of the canal and ocean. After dinner at Moose Mugilicutty's we walked around the International Market Place. The market seems pretty much as I remember it but the neighbourhood has tons of high end stores.

ALOHA

We had a great flight and evening last night. Phil, S and K had pre-arranged for a surprise beautiful lei greeting for me for mother's day - dendrobium orchids! Gorgeous! We had a late bite at one of the restaurants in our hotel where the was a band playing and we could smell and feel the tropical breezes. I then had to visit one of the nearby ABC stores to pick up yogurt and cream for coffee. The liquor section was huge! S and K are about a 10 minute walk away.

Our room is a corner suite with 2 lanai's- I feel totally spoiled. One faces Diamond head and has a lounger on it. The other faces the beach and this view.
